Raza Rumi

Raza Rumi is a Pakistani writer who has been contributing regularly for the Pakistani weekly The Friday Times ,Express Tribune, The News and Daily DAWN on myriad topics such as history, arts, literature and society.

Raza also blogs at cyber-magazines Pak Tea House & Lahore Nama; and compiles the Development Industry blog . He is also a self-taught painter and his works can be seen at the online Saatchi Gallery.

Raza’s interests include writing, literature, world civilizations and cultures, politics,travel, painting and mysticism. Academically, he is trained in economics, social development, law and public administration.

‘Raza Rumi’ is a nom de plume to keep his day job separate from his work as a policy adviser and development practitioner. As a policy expert, Raza has worked with several international development institutions, government agencies and leading Pakistani NGOs. Raza Rumi’s alter-ego has several development reports, academic and policy publications to his credit.

Vimal Mohan

Vimal Mohan, belongs to a family of soldiers and sportsmen, joined Border Security Force at the age of 21. Fond of adventurous life, inherited talents of riding, mountaineering and shooting, Vimal loved to work and get acquainted with borders and related issues.

Vimal has undergone high Altitude warfare, Commando specialised on weapons, Intelligence, Tactical Warfare and other courses related to armed forces. Vimal has served for three stints in J&K during militancy and nineteen years otherwise in J&K.  Vimal also commanded a unit of underground Nagas in Nagaland.  He served for a period of six years as a Dy. Inspector general/ Sector Commander in Cooch Behar, Siliguri and Kishanganj on Indo- Bangladesh Border. Vimal also had the privilege of serving as Commander Artillery of Border Security Force.

Vimal worked as a Joint Assistant Director (Intelligence/G) in Kashmir and also served as Supdt. of Police (Intelligence and Interrogation) in Punjab Police during Punjab militancy.

Vimal was also awarded with President’s Police medal for Gallantry, President’s Police medal for Meritorious Services and Several Commendations for outstanding performance in the field of Intelligence and dealing with Naxalites in Bengal.

Vimal took premature retirement as a Dy Inspector General/ Commander Artillery, Border Security Force in 2008 and started working in Jaypee Group as Vice President (Administration).

Vimal has taken National Security, Defence and Militancy as major areas of Research with The Analyst World.

Dr. Zaeem Zia

Dr. Zaeem Zia is a Fulbright Scholar on Health Policy and Leadership in Oklahoma University and Johns Hopkins University-USA;  belongs to Gilgit-Baltistan- He graduated in Medicine from Nishtar Medical College Multan Pakistan.
He Contributes to Friday Times, LUBP and Pak Tea house and PPP Scholars Wing blog. He is Pioneer of the Future of Gilgit-Baltistan blog, which is the largest blog of natives from Gilgit-Baltistan.
His focus is Gilgit-Baltistan and its identity and constitutional rights; Zia advocates Healthcare and educational and political reforms in the region.
He is Director of Roshan Gilgit-Baltistan Trust, Member of Gilgit-Baltistan Think Tank, Gilgit-Baltistan Social Welfare Organization, Advisor Gilgit-Baltistan Volunteer Movement, Civil Society and Human rights activist.
Zia’s Interests are Leadership Management and Capacity building of youth, Political activism, History and Art, writing, Travelling, Trekking, Mountaineering, Hunting, and Fishing.

Adfar Shah

Adfar Shah is a Kashmiri Writer and currently the Doctoral Candidate of Sociology at the Central University of Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi. The author has mostly been writing on social and political issues in South Asia. His articles have appeared in various national and international journals, magazines and newspapers. Besides participating in number of national and international conferences, he has produced more than one hundred publications so far. Hissan H. Haqqani

Hissan is currently a senior digital media analyst overlooking the political communication strategy aspect of Pakistani politics. He also maintains a keen oversight of religio-political developments in Pakistan.

Hissan has been in Washington DC working for a communication strategies firm for the last couple of years. He was in the state of Oklahoma prior to that pursuing his bachelors in Engineering with a minor in Business Administration and masters in Health Management with electives in Communication and IR.

Hissan is also the Chief Advisor for PPP Scholars Wing Forum which is a platform for emerging young PPP intellectuals, leaders and technocrats. He contributes to various blogs including LUBP, PTH, NP and PPP Scholars Wing.

Cristina De Dona :

Cristina, obtained her Ph.D. in International Law, from the University of Turin, Italy in 2004 and is currently working as an international lawyer in London. Cristina has a broad international experience in Corporate and International Contract Law across a range of international organizations and industries.

Over a period of time she has established herself as an expert in the field of Mergers and Acquisition (M&A) and legal transactional support, Litigation Management, Compliance, Sanctions regimes (especially OFAC) Office of Foreign Assets Control, Competition Law, communications with government authorities, Risk management, product development and product liability.

Christina is great patron of languages and is fluent in four European languages mainly Italian, English, German and French.
